Q: Question 5 of 5: Why are you interested in being part of the Women's Power Collaborative?
A: We need a democracy that works for and represents all people. But due to many complex barriers, women—and women of color in particular—face increased challenges when engaging in the democratic process, especially when running for office. As an ally and advocate in the movement to close the representation gap, I would love to join the Women’s Power Collaborative to share resources and insights on how to overcome these barriers from both New American Leaders and from my personal experiences as a former campaign manager and staffer. Together we can create a stronger, more inclusive democracy!
