WPC July 2026 Lunch & Learn: What 250 Years of History Means for Women & The Work Ahead

This Women's Power Collaborative Lunch & Learn was held on Thursday, July 16, and it featured Dr. Janell Hobson, Professor of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University at Albany. Dr. Hobson introduced Ms. Magazine's "Founding Feminists" series, which reexamines America's origin story through the women who built — and kept rebuilding — this democracy from its earliest days, including the often-overlooked influence of Haudenosaunee governance on the framework we now call American democracy.
