RepresentWomen undertakes all of our research projects to further understand the current landscape of women's political and judicial representation across demographic and social divides. We use our research to ground and develop our advocacy strategies to build a culture of change and progress for women's representation throughout the country.
RepresentWomen touched on the U.S. Territories briefly in the 2019 Gender Parity Index Report, this is in part due to the lack of accessible data at the local levels in these regions. However, we have found, women have a large presence at the Congressional level; four of the six non-voting delegates from the U.S. territories are women. We hope to continue this research and expand on our understanding of women's current political representation in the U.S. Territories.
