McKayla Wenner is a senior at Georgetown University majoring in Government and English and minoring in Spanish. She has long been interested in politics and gender equity, and her passion for electoral reform began when she took classes on Congressional politics and international political parties at Georgetown and la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
As a research intern at RepresentWomen, McKayla is looking forward to studying district design and ranked choice voting. She hopes to utilize the knowledge that she gains from RepresentWomen in graduate school and in her future career in political communications or policymaking. In her free time, you can find her reading, listening to podcasts, knitting, camping, or playing with her black labs, Max and Midnight.
