Joseph Zimmerman is a political science professor at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy of the University at Albany, SUNY. Dr. Zimmerman’s work focuses on federalism, the Electoral College, and the relationship between state and local governments. He serves on the executive committee and is the former chairman of the American Political Science Association's section on Representation and Electoral Systems.
