Jacqueline Crespo is a Researcher at RepresentWomen based in Tampa, Florida. She is passionate about election system reform and equal representation, with a particular interest in how electoral design shapes candidate opportunity, voter access, and governing outcomes. She is committed to strengthening election security at the ultra-local level to build trust in democratic processes.
Jacqueline earned her BA in Political Science from the University of Tampa in 2021 and her MPAP from American University in 2025. Her past research has explored topics of ultra-local election administration, access to affordable housing in climate-vulnerable communities, and systemic inequities faced by marginalized populations.
Outside of work, Jacqueline enjoys spending time in the Florida sun and dreams of one day having a garden large enough to live off. She can often be found getting lost on a trail or cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays at a baseball game."
