Alisha Saxena is Master of Public Policy Candidate at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. Alisha started at RepresentWomen as a research intern, where she helped co-author two reports on intersectional barriers to representation for disabled women and first-generation women, two communities that she believes are not talked about enough. She is greatly passionate about disability justice, electoral reform, marginalized community representation, gender parity, and intersectionality, and looks forward to furthering her understanding and research of these topics as a Research Associate with RepresentWomen. One day, she aspires to either become a policy researcher or an elected official (or both!).
