Chrissie Castro just emailed to say that Paulette Jordan is also the first woman and Native American to win the Democratic gubernatorial nomination in Idaho - there was a story on Vox about her win and another on Krem2 about this terrific news!

And in case anyone is unfamiliar with the political landscape in Idaho, the state gets a D on RepresentWomen's Gender Parity Index - as do the other 3 states that held primaries this week, but the times they are a changing.....
